FIBONACCI SEQUENCE AND GOLDEN NUMBER


Nuestros alumnos y alumnas de 4º de ESO se han convertido en profesores y profesoras por unos días para explicarnos un concepto fascinante: la sucesión de Fibonacci y el número de oro.

Lejos de quedarse solo en las fórmulas de la pizarra, cada uno ha elegido el enfoque que más le apasionaba para presentárselo a sus compañeros. ¡Y el resultado ha sido increíble! Hemos viajado desde la historia del arte hasta los secretos de la naturaleza, pasando por debates filosóficos y, por supuesto, demostraciones matemáticas puras que explican cómo se relacionan estos números mágicos.

Para que podáis ver el gran talento y el esfuerzo que han puesto en este proyecto, os compartimos aquí algunas de sus presentaciones. ¡Os animamos a echarles un vistazo en familia!


Our 4th ESO students became teachers for a few days to explain a fascinating concept to their classmates: the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Ratio.

Instead of just sticking to whiteboard formulas, each student chose the angle they were most passionate about. And the results were incredible! We journeyed from art history to the secrets of nature, diving into philosophical debates and, of course, the pure mathematical proofs that explain how these magical numbers connect.

Bienvenid@s de nuevo a nuestro blog de bilingüismo, en el que os iremos contando algunas de las actividades y proyectos que realizamos en el programa bilingüe. Este curso empezamos con un proyecto de matemáticas en 3º. En esta situación de aprendizaje, el alumnado ha trabajado en grupos de cuatro miembros, fomentando así la colaboración, el reparto de tareas y la toma de decisiones en equipo. A lo largo de la actividad, han tenido que resolver un problema práctico que consistía en calcular el presupuesto más económico para enlosar una habitación, partiendo de tres tipos de losas con distintas medidas, formatos y precios. Para ello, han analizado las opciones disponibles, comparado costes y ajustado los cálculos a las necesidades reales del espacio. Physical Education Projects

Hello! Our bilingual students have carried out several very interesting projects in Physical Education, and we wanted to share them with you. This is what their teacher Julio tells us: During the first term, we worked on content related to physical fitness and warm-up. We created projects on general warm-up in 2nd year of ESO, as well as general and specific warm-up projects in 3rd year of ESO, with the aim of understanding the different parts of a warm-up, the body parts involved, and helping to prevent injuries. In the second term, we worked with 2nd year of ESO on badminton. Our students learned about aspects related to the rules, equipment, playing field, and technical elements. They put it into practice and, in addition, created infographics explaining each of the topics we covered in class. Certamen Provincial Bilingüe

Un año más, nuestro centro ha participado en el Certamen Provincial de Centros Bilingües celebrado este año en el IES Nicolás Salmerón.  Nuestro alumnado representante de 1ºA y 1ºB ha obtenido muy buenos resultados en las pruebas de inglés y, lo más importante, lo han pasado genial en un día de convivencia de los centros bilingües de la provincia.  Compartimos algunas fotos y el vídeo del Karaoke.  ¡Feliz verano! -------------------------------------------------------------- Once again, our school has taken part in the Provincial Contest of Bilingual Schools, held this year at IES Nicolás Salmerón. Our 1st-year A and B students achieved very good results in the English tests and, most importantly, had a great time during a day of fellowship with other bilingual schools from the province.
