Maths Project 3ºB

Bienvenid@s de nuevo a nuestro blog de bilingüismo, en el que os iremos contando algunas de las actividades y proyectos que realizamos en el programa bilingüe.

Este curso empezamos con un proyecto de matemáticas en 3º.

En esta situación de aprendizaje, el alumnado ha trabajado en grupos de cuatro miembros, fomentando así la colaboración, el reparto de tareas y la toma de decisiones en equipo. A lo largo de la actividad, han tenido que resolver un problema práctico que consistía en calcular el presupuesto más económico para enlosar una habitación, partiendo de tres tipos de losas con distintas medidas, formatos y precios. Para ello, han analizado las opciones disponibles, comparado costes y ajustado los cálculos a las necesidades reales del espacio.

Una vez obtenida la solución, cada grupo ha preparado una presentación que posteriormente ha subido a Padlet. Allí han compartido su trabajo con el resto de la clase y, además, lo han expuesto oralmente ante sus compañeros. Durante la presentación, han explicado el proceso seguido, las estrategias de cálculo empleadas, las dificultades encontradas y las conclusiones finales, favoreciendo así el intercambio de ideas y la reflexión conjunta sobre las distintas formas de abordar el mismo problema.

Welcome back to our bilingualism blog, where we will be sharing some of the activities and projects carried out in the bilingual program.

This school year, we are starting with a mathematics project in Year 3.

In this learning situation, students worked in groups of four, promoting collaboration, task distribution, and team decision-making. Throughout the activity, they had to solve a practical problem that involved calculating the most economical budget for tiling a room, using three types of tiles with different sizes, formats, and prices. To do this, they analyzed the available options, compared costs, and adjusted their calculations to the actual needs of the space.

Once they reached a solution, each group prepared a presentation and uploaded it to Padlet. There, they shared their work with the rest of the class and also presented it orally to their classmates. During the presentation, they explained the process they followed, the calculation strategies they used, the difficulties they encountered, and their final conclusions, thus encouraging the exchange of ideas and joint reflection on the different ways to approach the same problem.
