Diophantine Equations 2ºB

En este proyecto de investigación, nuestro alumnado se ha sumergido en el fascinante origen de las ecuaciones lineales que actualmente estamos analizando en el tema de Sistemas de Ecuaciones. A través de este trabajo, los estudiantes no solo comprenden la estructura matemática y la forma de estas herramientas, sino que viajan en el tiempo para descubrir su contexto histórico y sus sorprendentes aplicaciones en la vida real. Como parte de nuestro compromiso con el aprendizaje responsable y la ética digital, queremos destacar la palabra Diofanta en este texto para dejar constancia del uso de herramientas de inteligencia artificial como apoyo en la redacción y estructuración de nuestro hilo de investigación.

In this research project, our students have immersed themselves in the fascinating origins of the linear equations we are currently analyzing in our Systems of Equations unit. Through this work, students not only understand the mathematical structure and form of these tools, but they also travel back in time to discover their historical context and surprising real-world applications. As part of our commitment to responsible learning and digital ethics, we would like to highlight the word Diofanta in this text to acknowledge the use of artificial intelligence tools as a support in writing and structuring our research thread.

Bienvenid@s de nuevo a nuestro blog de bilingüismo, en el que os iremos contando algunas de las actividades y proyectos que realizamos en el programa bilingüe. Este curso empezamos con un proyecto de matemáticas en 3º. En esta situación de aprendizaje, el alumnado ha trabajado en grupos de cuatro miembros, fomentando así la colaboración, el reparto de tareas y la toma de decisiones en equipo. A lo largo de la actividad, han tenido que resolver un problema práctico que consistía en calcular el presupuesto más económico para enlosar una habitación, partiendo de tres tipos de losas con distintas medidas, formatos y precios. Para ello, han analizado las opciones disponibles, comparado costes y ajustado los cálculos a las necesidades reales del espacio. Physical Education Projects

Hello! Our bilingual students have carried out several very interesting projects in Physical Education, and we wanted to share them with you. This is what their teacher Julio tells us: During the first term, we worked on content related to physical fitness and warm-up. We created projects on general warm-up in 2nd year of ESO, as well as general and specific warm-up projects in 3rd year of ESO, with the aim of understanding the different parts of a warm-up, the body parts involved, and helping to prevent injuries. In the second term, we worked with 2nd year of ESO on badminton. Our students learned about aspects related to the rules, equipment, playing field, and technical elements. They put it into practice and, in addition, created infographics explaining each of the topics we covered in class. Certamen Provincial Bilingüe

Un año más, nuestro centro ha participado en el Certamen Provincial de Centros Bilingües celebrado este año en el IES Nicolás Salmerón.  Nuestro alumnado representante de 1ºA y 1ºB ha obtenido muy buenos resultados en las pruebas de inglés y, lo más importante, lo han pasado genial en un día de convivencia de los centros bilingües de la provincia.  Compartimos algunas fotos y el vídeo del Karaoke.  ¡Feliz verano! -------------------------------------------------------------- Once again, our school has taken part in the Provincial Contest of Bilingual Schools, held this year at IES Nicolás Salmerón. Our 1st-year A and B students achieved very good results in the English tests and, most importantly, had a great time during a day of fellowship with other bilingual schools from the province.
