Club de lectura en inglés: último trimestre

Los pasados viernes 15 y 22 de mayo, nuestro club de lectura en inglés se reunió por última vez en este curso. Nuestro alumnado de 1º y 2º ESO leyó la novela gráfica “Smile”, mientras que en 3º y 4º ESO leyeron “Pride and Prejudice”.

Una vez más, aparte de practicar nuestro inglés, la lectura en este idioma nos ha aportado momentos de reflexión, pensamiento crítico, y disfrute, por supuesto.

Veremos qué lecturas nos esperan el próximo curso en el club. Mientras tanto, no dejéis de leer, nuestra biblioteca está llena de maravillas.


   

    
    

    

      




On Friday, May 15th and May 22nd, our English Book Club met for the last time this school year. Our Year 7 and 8 (1st & 2nd ESO) students read the graphic novel “Smile”, while our 3rd & 4th ESO students read “Pride and Prejudice”.

Once again, apart from practicing our English, reading in this language has brought us moments of reflection, critical thinking, and, of course, pure enjoyment.

We will see what reading adventures await us next year in the club! In the meantime, don't stop reading—our library is full of wonders.

Bienvenid@s de nuevo a nuestro blog de bilingüismo, en el que os iremos contando algunas de las actividades y proyectos que realizamos en el programa bilingüe. Este curso empezamos con un proyecto de matemáticas en 3º. En esta situación de aprendizaje, el alumnado ha trabajado en grupos de cuatro miembros, fomentando así la colaboración, el reparto de tareas y la toma de decisiones en equipo. A lo largo de la actividad, han tenido que resolver un problema práctico que consistía en calcular el presupuesto más económico para enlosar una habitación, partiendo de tres tipos de losas con distintas medidas, formatos y precios. Para ello, han analizado las opciones disponibles, comparado costes y ajustado los cálculos a las necesidades reales del espacio. Una vez obtenida la solución, cada grupo ha preparado una presentación que posteriormente ha subido a Padlet. Certamen Provincial Bilingüe

Un año más, nuestro centro ha participado en el Certamen Provincial de Centros Bilingües celebrado este año en el IES Nicolás Salmerón.  Nuestro alumnado representante de 1ºA y 1ºB ha obtenido muy buenos resultados en las pruebas de inglés y, lo más importante, lo han pasado genial en un día de convivencia de los centros bilingües de la provincia.  Compartimos algunas fotos y el vídeo del Karaoke.  ¡Feliz verano! -------------------------------------------------------------- Once again, our school has taken part in the Provincial Contest of Bilingual Schools, held this year at IES Nicolás Salmerón. Our 1st-year A and B students achieved very good results in the English tests and, most importantly, had a great time during a day of fellowship with other bilingual schools from the province. Physical Education Projects

Hello! Our bilingual students have carried out several very interesting projects in Physical Education, and we wanted to share them with you. This is what their teacher Julio tells us: During the first term, we worked on content related to physical fitness and warm-up. We created projects on general warm-up in 2nd year of ESO, as well as general and specific warm-up projects in 3rd year of ESO, with the aim of understanding the different parts of a warm-up, the body parts involved, and helping to prevent injuries. In the second term, we worked with 2nd year of ESO on badminton. Our students learned about aspects related to the rules, equipment, playing field, and technical elements. They put it into practice and, in addition, created infographics explaining each of the topics we covered in class.
