Healthy Menus in Maths

Baroque Music

Through podcasts, the students at the school have musically analyzed important Baroque musical works and researched the composers of these pieces. Once the information was gathered, they wrote a dialogue in groups in which they presented the information in a radio format. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A través de los podcasts los alumnos y alumnas del centro han analizado musicalmente obras musicales importantes del Barroco y han buscado información sobre los compositores de estas obras musicales. Una vez reunida la información, han redactado un diálogo por grupos en el que han expuesto la información a través del formato de radio. Physical Education Projects

Hello! Our bilingual students have carried out several very interesting projects in Physical Education, and we wanted to share them with you. This is what their teacher Julio tells us: During the first term, we worked on content related to physical fitness and warm-up. We created projects on general warm-up in 2nd year of ESO, as well as general and specific warm-up projects in 3rd year of ESO, with the aim of understanding the different parts of a warm-up, the body parts involved, and helping to prevent injuries. In the second term, we worked with 2nd year of ESO on badminton. Our students learned about aspects related to the rules, equipment, playing field, and technical elements. They put it into practice and, in addition, created infographics explaining each of the topics we covered in class. The students of 3rd and 4th year of ESO, during this term, researched female athletes, coinciding the project with International Women's Day. The 3rd-year students created a small biograph...

Torneo de Debate Plurilingüe Provincia de Almería

Enhorabuena al equipo que representó a nuestro centro en el Torneo de Debate Plurilingüe de la provincia de Almería, formado por Emma, Mario, Lorenna, Jade y Raúl, de 3º ESO B, y gracias a sus profesoras de Oratoria y Debate y de Inglés.  Era la primera vez que nuestro centro participaba en el torneo de debate en lengua inglesa e hicieron un muy buen trabajo. Aparte de su talento, demostraron una gran valentía al enfrentarse a este tipo de experiencia. Estamos seguras de que esta experiencia les supuso un aprendizaje muy valioso. Bilingual Book Club 3º-4º ESO

On February 10th, the meeting of our bilingual reading club for 3rd and 4th-year secondary school students took place in the library after reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time . During the meeting, our students discussed various topics addressed in the book and shared their opinions alongside their English teachers. Most of the meeting was conducted in English, and afterward, we enjoyed a delicious literary breakfast. Bilingual Book Club 1º-2º ESO

On January 27th, our bilingual reading club held its first meeting of the school year in our beloved library. In this first gathering, our students from 1st and 2nd year of secondary school met after reading the comic in English "Smile." As in previous occasions, we had a great time sharing our thoughts on this book, which mainly focuses on friendship and some of the most common problems during adolescence. Afterward, our readers enjoyed a well-deserved literary breakfast. The bilingual reading club is an initiative that promotes the Erasmus+ objectives of the school, organized by our Erasmus+ team and the English Department in collaboration with the Library. Y, por último, antes de terminar el año, os mostramos los proyectos que nuestro alumnado de 1º, 2º y 3º ha realizado en matemáticas con sus profesoras bilingües y la ayuda de nuestra auxiliar de conversación. Por un lado, han elaborado sus propias recetas, y también han creado sus propios planes de ahorro. ¡Todo muy útil y delicioso! ¡Nos vemos el próximo año! ------------------------------------------ Hello again!
