Infographics in Maths

In 3rd and 4th ESO, our students have made some infographics in their Maths lessons. 

The infographics in 3ºB include the following:

  • information about the problem of plastic waste caused by humans 
  • data in scientific notation on the amount of plastic used in greenhouses or plastic consumption in homes
  • text to raise awareness among others about the problem of plastics
  • proposals to reduce consumption
This is a topic that belongs to one of our Erasmus+ objectives too.

The ones that 4ºB made include the following:

  • information about the Golden Number
  • what is the golden number? 
  • indicates its characteristics and properties
  • relationship with art and nature

En 3º y 4º ESO, el alumnado ha preparado infografías en su clase de matemáticas. En 3ºB han trabajado sobre el problema que supone el consumo de plástico y cómo reducirlo, un tema, además que pertenece a uno de nuestros objetivos Erasmus+. En 4ºB han trabajado sobre el fascinante "número de oro" o "número áureo".

 Hello, readers! At our school, we love learning throughout very different methods. For example, we love using learning stations. We have different learning stations with different activities that we all have to complete in groups, but... in five minutes! When the time is up, we must stand up and run to the next station. Erasmus+ Welcome Concert

As part of our Erasmus+ project, from April 22 to 26, IES Algazul hosted two teachers from Kurfürst-Salentin-Gymnasium in Andernach, Germany, and a group of ten students with their teachers from ZSO in Kluczbork, Poland. To welcome them, our music teachers, Luis and Samuel, prepared a concert in which some of our students showcased their musical talent. The concert was presented in English by four of our bilingual 2nd ESO students: Emma, Jade, Raúl, and Víctor. Advertisements in 2ºB

Our 2ºB students have recorded several advertisements in their music class. Along with their teacher, Samuel, they had to invent slogans in English, create scripts, and, of course, use the appropriate music. In the final result, the students of this class have once again stood out for their great imagination. Well done, boys and girls!
