Bilingual Reading Club

 Hi, readers!

This year, in collaboration with our beloved Library, we are holding a Bilingual Reading Club. We are reading books in English and then we are having a fun meeting at the library to comment them. This is a great activity to improve your English and is open to everyone at school.

The first comic book we are reading is "Heartstopper 1". It will be available very soon at the library!

Este curso, en colaboración con nuestra querida Biblioteca, comenzamos un Club de lectura bilingüe. Leeremos libros en inglés y después mantendremos una reunión en la librería para comentarlos. Esta es una gran actividad para mejorar vuestro inglés y está abierta a todos los cursos.

El primer libro que leeremos es un cómic, "Heartstopper 1". ¡Muy pronto estará disponible en la biblioteca!

 Hello, readers! At our school, we love learning throughout very different methods. For example, we love using learning stations. We have different learning stations with different activities that we all have to complete in groups, but... in five minutes! When the time is up, we must stand up and run to the next station. Erasmus+ Welcome Concert

As part of our Erasmus+ project, from April 22 to 26, IES Algazul hosted two teachers from Kurfürst-Salentin-Gymnasium in Andernach, Germany, and a group of ten students with their teachers from ZSO in Kluczbork, Poland. To welcome them, our music teachers, Luis and Samuel, prepared a concert in which some of our students showcased their musical talent. The concert was presented in English by four of our bilingual 2nd ESO students: Emma, Jade, Raúl, and Víctor. Advertisements in 2ºB

Our 2ºB students have recorded several advertisements in their music class. Along with their teacher, Samuel, they had to invent slogans in English, create scripts, and, of course, use the appropriate music. In the final result, the students of this class have once again stood out for their great imagination. Well done, boys and girls!
